West Ham are reportedly among a host of clubs ‘interested’ in New York City striker Valentin Castellanos.
The 23-year-old has been attracting attention from Europe following a superb 2021 MLS Campaign.
A sister club of Premier League champions Manchester City, New York are said to be ‘braced’ for interest in the Argentina youth international over the coming months.
That’s according to a report from the Mail Online, as cited by Soccer Talk on Twitter.

The report claims that the newly crowned MLS Cup winners are expecting admiration from Turkey and Spain, whilst the Hammers are said to have ‘kept an eye on his development’ in recent times.
During the 2021 season, the ace described as ‘top class’ by Ronny Deila, scored 23 times and provided eight assists in 36 appearances.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £6.3million and under contract until 2025 in America (Transfermarkt), prizing the Argentine out of New York could be a relatively expensive mission.
Boasting an impressive goalscoring track record, Castellanos certainly looks to be ready for the next step in a promising career.
Albeit an unproven entity at the top level, David Moyes is in need of a centre-forward and has likely earned enough transfer credit to take this perceived gamble.
