West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen is said to be ‘destined for the top’ after it was revealed the Englishman had refused a break to train.
The 24-year-old is believed to have forgone the opportunity to go on holiday during the international break in favour of doing additional work on the training ground.
That commitment has led former Everton striker Kevin Campbell to tell Football Insider that Bowen is on a pathway right to the elite.
If he is making those sort of adjustments [extra training] in order to get better I think he is destined for the top. You really need to put the work in to get to that next level. You have to work tirelessly and make sacrifices. I love hearing that he has sacrificed his holidays to work on himself. That’s really important. Well done to Bowen. You can see that he has great ability and let’s not forget that he is still a young man.
The 51-year-old went on to suggest that the former Hull City forward could go on to score ‘many’ goals this season having opened his account against Brentford.
Bowen’s form has been attracting major interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Leicester City.

If teammate Pablo Fornals gets his way, the next time there is an international break, Bowen will be in action as part of the England squad.
This level of commitment underpins the ace’s rise to the Premier League so far.
A hardworking player, Bowen showed superb desire as a non-league ace with Hereford to earn a move to Hull before West Ham came calling.
Under the stewardship of David Moyes and alongside a squad packed with quality, there’s no telling where this journey will end.
