Former Premier League centre-back Rio Ferdinand has joined the long list of pundits heaping praise on West Ham striker Michail Antonio.
The 31 year old Jamaican forward has been in inspired form at the start of this season and is currently sitting joint top of the goalscoring charts.
After a late match-winner at Elland Road last weekend, Antonio has once again been in receipt of numerous plaudits.
Speaking on his Vibe with Five YouTube channel, the ex-Iron and England man was full of admiration for the talismanic forward.
West Ham with the late winner, Antonio again, he is on fire by the way, absolute fire. It’s no wonder he’s the top scorer in Premier League history at West Ham. His confidence, his confidence is at an all-time high.
The newly capped Jamaica international has earned a remarkable 8.12 average Sofascore rating from the opening five Premier League games this term.
Antonio also opened the scoring as David Moyes’ side made a winning start to their Europa League Group H campaign and will be hoping to make a similar impact against Rapid Vienna on Thursday.

Certainly, in the form of his life, the talismanic Hammer is well on course to supersede a 10 goal season career-high.
Given the lightning-fast start, Antonio could be eyeing up the 14 goal mark achieved in 2014/15 whilst at Nottingham Forest.
