West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph has hinted at a possible imminent move for loan sensation Jesse Lingard.
The 28-year-old has returned to parent club Manchester United following a hugely successful spell at the London Stadium last season.
Despite seemingly being part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans at Old Trafford, there remains optimism a deal could be struck in the final weeks of the transfer window.
Experienced stopper Randolph posted on his Instagram story on Sunday night, as cited by Football For All on Twitter, calling for the England attacking midfielder to join back up with the Hammers at Rush Green.

Lingard was seemingly reborn in east London having struggled to make an impact in Manchester during the first half of the 2020/21 campaign.
Called back into the England setup, the 29 times capped ace was somewhat unfortunate to miss out on the squad for the European Championships.

Ultimately this deal should all come down to where Lingard can foresee a squad role.
Despite Solskjaer claiming there was indeed a place for the attacking midfielder in his plans, competition from Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho make a prominent role almost impossible.
By contrast, Lingard quickly became the main man in Moyes’ eye and would no doubt slot straight back into starting contention once again.
