West Ham target Jonathan Tah has reportedly held preliminary talks with an unnamed Premier League club regarding a potential summer transfer.
Previously linked with the Hammers, the 25-year-old Bayern Leverkusen defender remains on the radar in east London and could be about to make a move during the ongoing window.
Whilst interest in James Tarkowski seemingly fades away and instead, the Irons pursue Fiorentina star Nikola Milenkovic, Tah remains an interesting option.
According to a report from German outlet Kicker, as cited by West Ham Central on Twitter, the centre-back has held discussions in England.

The report claims the 6’5 13-cap German could be available for just €20million (£17.2million) this summer.
Described as a ‘top player’ and compared to Virgil van Dijk by former Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz, Tah made 37 appearances in 2020/21 and earned an average Sofascore rating of 6.88 in 27 Bundesliga outings.

Valued at £19.8million and under contract until 2023 at the BayArena (Transfermarkt), signing Tah at the mooted fee would be incredible value for money.
Also capable of covering at right-back, David Moyes would no doubt be delighted to add the German to the ranks at the London Stadium.
Fingers crossed that unnamed club happened to be in east London.
