West Ham have two potential striker signings on their radar ahead of a crucial summer transfer window.

Having allowed Sebastien Haller to leave the club on a permanent basis in January, David Moyes will be desperate to land a frontman shortly after the end of the ongoing campaign.

According to a report from The Athletic, as cited by West Ham Central on Twitter, the Irons have placed Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and Sparta Prague youngster Adam Hlozek on their radar.

The report goes into detail regarding the comparison between the pair, claiming the 18-year-old Czech Republic international to be a more versatile option who is adept at carrying the ball.

Moyes had initially ruled the Irons out of a move for Abraham as a mooted £40million asking price did the rounds.

However, fresh claims have suggested West Ham could instead look to loan the 23-year-old from the Stamford Bridge club.

This season, Hlozek has netted 11 goals in 21 outings across all competitions whilst Abraham has managed 12 strikes in 32 appearances.

Signing both may seem somewhat of a pipedream given the potential expenditure required, but done smartly it could be a deal that works out well.

Should there indeed be scope to loan Abraham for the season and perhaps bolt a fee on at the end then West Ham should waste no time in getting such a deal done given the 6-cap star’s Premier League exposure.

Meanwhile, Hlozek holds a perceived market value of £10.8million making a deal imminently possible.

At just 18 the teenager would need time to adapt to a new country and league – perhaps a season playing second fiddle to Abraham and Michail Antonio.
