West Ham fans must now be accustomed to speculation linking Declan Rice with a move away from east London.
Having seemingly overcome constant reports linking the 22-year-old with a return to Chelsea, this week the defensive midfielder is said to have attracted the attention of north-west giants Manchester United and Liverpool.
While Rice has previously spoken of his desire to play in European competition, the Irons are currently on course to give him his wish as they sit fifth in the Premier League – one place and two points ahead of Liverpool.
With a precedent already set by way of an asking price and a determination to hang onto their influential leader, plenty of Hammers fans have reacted on social media to the fresh reports.
Unsurprisingly, many have issued their own compelling hands-off warnings regarding the West Ham “king”, although there was one exception to the wider feeling, as you’ll see from the Twitter reaction below:
Why do United fans all of a sudden think they’re getting rice 😂😂😂
