West Ham will be hoping to put their FA Cup exit behind them when they welcome Sheffield United to the London Stadium this evening.
David Moyes‘ side are without a win in two matches after they followed their goalless Premier League encounter with Fulham with an FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United.
The Hammers could leapfrog Chelsea (temporarily) and Liverpool with a victory in east London, although Moyes will be without both Angelo Ogbonna and Andriy Yarmolenoko, who suffered injuries in midweek.
Clashes between the two teams last season were closely-fought contests, as was the match earlier this term when Sebastien Haller’s strike proved to be decisive.
However, with a discernibly different Sheffield United side from last season visiting, at least in the way of confidence, Moyes will know this is a golden opportunity to move into the European places in the Premier League.
Here’s how we think West Ham will line up, with one huge plus among three changes from the team which lost at Old Trafford six days ago…
