West Ham have reportedly given the ‘green light’ to allow Issa Diop to leave the club on loan this month according to Football Insider, and plenty of the Irons faithful have had their say.
Manager David Moyes is believed to have told Diop he can leave this month in order to obtain more first team football after falling behind Craig Dawson in the pecking order.
The 24-year-old has played just five times for Moyes’ side this season after making an impressive start to life in east London following his £22.5m switch from Toulouse in 2018.
Football Insider claimed that the Frenchman’s availability is likely to cause a stir as ‘multiple sides’ hold an interest in landing the centre-back for the remainder of the season. With domestic interest cited, whether West Ham would be willing to loan him out to a Premier League rival remains to be seen.
In the meantime, these Irons fans have reacted to the news, and given the Hammers’ lofty position and tremendous form, there are very few prophets of doom among the reactions on Twitter…

Twitter: @WestHam_Central @footyinsider247 Can’t be right. Moyes said he was staying. Squad Depth getting even thinner if true (@TalkinWestHam)
If it means him growing in confidence then great but the board will see it as an opportunity to ship him out.
He's a talent and one for the future, I'd keep him 100%. He's shown what he's capable off, he just needs to build his confidence up again and get back in the team. https://t.co/PClI9qxRbD— West Ham Pub Talk (@WHUFCpubtalk) January 21, 2021
