West Ham captain Mark Noble may be considered by some as almost beyond criticism for his years of service to the club.
However, after rare back-to-back starts culminated in the 33-year-old being replaced at half-time against Brighton on Sunday, many of the Irons faithful have given their verdicts on Twitter.
Noble was playing as the most advanced of a central midfield three whilst summer signing Said Benrahma was forced to watch on from the bench once again.
During his 45 minutes on the pitch, Noble lost possession four times and lost the only ground duel he attempted (Sofascore).
Despite being known as ‘Mr. West Ham’ for his years of loyal service to the club, the Premier League stalwart was on the receiving end of some of the Irons’ faithful backlash on Sunday.
