As elusive as he is technically gifted, Said Benrahma’s rise to the Premier League has been anything but conventional.
Perhaps best known to followers of the English game through his illustrious spell at Brentford, the agile Algerian looks destined for the top.
His dribbling is the defining magnum opus of his arsenal, although his spell at Brentford showcased his shooting abilities, passing and overall build-up play.
In that regard, it was a no-brainer that a Premier League side would come in for him, with West Ham duly doing so in October.
Signing on loan from Brentford with a significant option-to-buy clause, the Irons forward has already peppered his spell with the east Londoners with plentiful goal contributions. Activating his buyout clause may emerge as more of a formality than a gamble.
