Enigmatic striker Sebastien Haller scored a goal for the ages on Wednesday night to earn West Ham a point at the London Stadium against Crystal Palace.
The newly-capped Ivory Coast international, who has taken his share of criticism during his time at the club, he acrobatically fired to the net from a Vladimir Coufal cross in the 1-1 draw last night. Haller continues to lead the line for David Moyes’ side as regular target man Michail Antonio remains sidelined.
The 26-year-old has struggled for consistency during his career in east London, often cutting a frustrated figure as he strives for the Bundesliga form which earned him his big-money move.
There’s nothing like sending a bicycle kick thundering into the top corner for a confidence boost and this could be the making of him in an Irons shirt.
