Many West Ham fans have praised the performance of Declan Rice as the 21-year-old midfielder put in another stellar display against Sheffield United.
Rice was inspirational in the heart of the midfield yet again for the Hammers, who were at their resilient best once again in a narrow 1-0 victory at Bramall Lane.
Another full game for the England man means he still hasn’t missed a single minute of action in the Premier League for David Moyes’ side this season, underlining his importance to the team.
Club captain Mark Noble came on for the dying moments of the match but did not take the armband off Rice, opting to let his understudy see out the job he had started as a leader.
Rice was voted Man of the Match via a poll on the club’s official Twitter channel ahead of match-winner Sebastien Haller and plenty of Irons fans had their say on their midfielder’s performance…
