West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell spoke to the club’s official website this week and stated he is ‘loving’ his new role as a left-sided centre-back this season.
The 30-year-old has been with the Hammers for six years, most of which has been spent operating as a conventional left-back.
Recently, David Moyes has opted for a 3-4-3 formation and the Liverpool-born defender has adapted well to his new position, with Arthur Masuaku outside him as a more conventional wing-back.
The former Tranmere Rovers and Ipswich Town man has played almost 200 Premier League matches for the Irons, being on the pitch for every minute in the league so far this term.
These West Ham fans have been reacting to the comments from the “reborn” defender, who had come under fire at times in recent months…
