West Ham have not given up their interest in Sampdoria’s Omar Colley, as per a report from Sampdoria News.
Central defender Colley has been linked away from Italy this summer, with West Ham apparently near the front of the queue of potential suitors.
The rumours, which began a short time ago, seemed to have subsided in recent days, however, the Italian publication have reignited the speculation by claiming there is still a chance that the transfer could still happen.

It is common knowledge that David Moyes wants to improve his defence, and Colley could help him do just that, with the commanding 27-year-old a seemingly available option who could also be available at an affordable price.
Formerly of Genk, Colley has a burgeoning reputation since his arrival in Serie A in 2018. He has made 52 appearances for Sampdoria and helped steer the club to a 15th place finish this season.
In a bizarre twist, it seems his time in Genk could provide the Hammers with an advantage as Colley’s family reportedly lived in the English capital whilst he plied his trade in Belgium, making London a desirable destination.
Moyes will be desperate to get additional defenders in through the door at the London Stadium as following the fixture announcement today, preparations will take a step up.
