According to Football London, Daniel Sturridge could be an ideal target for West Ham United, but many Hammers fans disagree.
As stated in the report, the former Liverpool man is without a club after his time with Turkish side Trabzonspor came to an end.
The Englishman is banned from all footballing activity until June 17 but could be exactly what David Moyes needs at West Ham, according to the report.
Sturridge had spells in England with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, with his most successful stint being with the Merseyside club.
When fit and healthy, Sturridge was one of the most dangerous strikers in the top-flight, but injury problems have seemed to ruin his progression.
The 30-year-old’s contract with Liverpool expired and he had plenty of offers on the table, before finally deciding to move to the Turkish Super Lig (The Guardian).
Many West Ham fans on Twitter are not keen on the club signing the centre-forward this summer, with some concerned about his injury issues.
