Albian Ajeti made his first West Ham start in over four months on the weekend, and some supporters are hoping to see the striker remain in the side against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old turned out from the off in the 1-0 defeat to Championship side West Brom on Saturday, his first start since the 4-0 Carabao Cup win over Oxford United back in September.
Ajeti, who is yet to start a Premier League fixture for the Hammers, failed to strike against the Baggies, but his overall display appeared to catch the eye of some supporters.
@westhamtransfer staked their claim on social media for Ajeti to remain in the side over club-record signing Sebastien Haller.
Their tweet led to these Hammers fans giving their views, with many in agreement with the call.

Twitter: @westhamtransfer I agree I thought he gave it a good go yesterday if haller had put in as much effort we might have scored (@bazertastic)

Handing a striker a first league start against the runaway Premier League leaders may well receive some criticism from some supporters.
However, in our view, Ajeti’s tireless work rate could be crucial if the Hammers are to leave the London Stadium with anything against the Reds.
