Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has admitted that striker Olivier Giroud could leave the club this month, as reported on Football London.
West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing the experienced forward this month.

The Frenchman has also been closely linked with a move to Italian side Inter Milan, as reported on the Evening Standard.
Lampard said in his press conference on Friday:
Olivier Giroud, we all know there may be something that can happen. The good thing about Oli is that he is so experienced.
I have a good relationship with him as does the club so again, if all circumstances are right it could happen. Whilst it is not, he is our player.

Lampard’s comments come as a boost for the Hammers because they’re currently on the prowl for a forward.
Many West Ham fans are not keen on the club signing Giroud this month because they prefer to have someone with pace.
However, although we agree with that point, we also feel that he would be a good signing for the club because of his goal-scoring record in the top flight.
The 33-year-old has got his name on the scoresheet a total of 78 goals in the Premier League and despite not being the quickest, he is a deadly finisher, which is what the Hammers need at the moment.
