West Ham are eyeing up a loan move for Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley.
That’s according to the Mirror, who claim that David Moyes is keen on a reunion with the former Everton man at the London Stadium.
The report claims that Chelsea are refusing to loan Barkley out at this moment in time, however, Moyes is hopeful that could change over the coming weeks.
The Mirror add that AC Milan’s Frank Kessie is another midfield option, however, the Hammers are hoping to pursue a move for the England international.

We think that a move for Barkley could gather pace over the coming weeks, based on numerous factors.
The attacking midfielder previously worked under Moyes at Everton, and in our opinion, if he made the move across London, would get regular game time.
Barkley’s only made seven Premier League appearances under Frank Lampard this season, and with the European Championships around the corner, we think that needs to change if he is to add to his 33 senior caps under Gareth Southgate this summer.
Other attacking midfielders who look to be pushing Barkley for a spot in the England squad are Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Leicester City’s James Maddison.
The pair have enjoyed better seasons than Barkley so far, with Grealish scoring six and providing five assists in 20 top-flight fixtures, while Maddison has netted six and laid on three for his Foxes teammates in 21 appearances.
The prospect of regular minutes for the Hammers, in our opinion, would appeal to Barkley, so we feel as if the club were to pursue the midfielder, they’d have a real chance of landing the player before the end of the window.
