Eintracht Frankfurt have stepped up their bid to keep West Ham United target Sebastien Haller at the club this summer by preparing a new bumper contract.
The Hammers have turned to the French striker in their prolonged hunt for a goalscorer but it doesn’t seem Frankfurt will be letting him leave easily.
According to Goal journalist Ronan Murphy on Twitter, last season’s Europa League semi-finalists are lining up a contract that would make Haller one of the highest earners at the club.

It’s understandable Frankfurt won’t be letting Haller depart without a fight after losing last term’s top goalscorer Luka Jovic to Real Madrid earlier in the transfer window.
Jovic netted 17 times in the 2018-19 Bundesliga, but Haller was narrowly behind on 15 goals and his contributions have seemingly gone slightly under the radar with his strike partner firmly in the spotlight.
The 25-year-old would bring plenty of quality to the Hammers though, and if they can pay up for his signature it’d act as a huge statement ahead of the new campaign.
