Two Premier League clubs, West Ham and Arsenal, have made offers for FC Lorient forward Alexis Claude-Maurice, according to reports in France.
Soccerlink report that the Gunners have had a €10m bid rejected by the Ligue 2 side but they do not specify the amount bid by the Hammers, or if the bid has been accepted.
A number of clubs across Europe are said to be tracking Claude-Maurice, with the likes of Lille, Lyon, Monaco, PSG and RB Leipzig said to be interested in the 20-year-old, so it won’t be easy for Arsenal or West Ham to land his signature.

The French U20 star scored 14 goals and assisted a further four in 35 league games for Lorient last season and his performances seemingly caught the eye of scouts at West Ham.
It looks like the Hammers’ bid will be rejected, so time will tell if they decide to make another offer in the coming days.
