West Ham are set for another summer of investment as the club look set for another mid-table finish in the Premier League.
The Hammers will definitely dive into the market if star players like Felipe Anderson and Declan Rice are swiped away by the European giants rumoured to be interested in their services.
Amidst all the transfer talk, however, there are a number of talented young players currently out on loan which could potentially offer Manuel Pellegrini some good options for his 2019-20 squad.
West Ham have five games left and currently sit in 11th, including trips to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford so it looks like they’ll miss out on European football in Pellegrini’s first season in charge.
The club’s aspirations are clear though and with fresh faces arriving in the form of loanees and new signings next season, improvements will be expected.
Last week we asked you which loanees you’d like to see return next season… check out who you voted for below.
5. Moses Makasi
The 23-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for West Ham but has featured for Chelmsford, Plymouth and most recently Stevenage on loan. He gained 405 of your votes but time is admittedly running out for him.
4. Sead Haksabanovic
He’ll be on loan at IFK Norrkoping but it looks like many Hammers fans would like to see his succeed at the club after earning 50% of the vote.
3. Reece Oxford
Oxford was once destined for a long career as West Ham’s main defender but quiet loan spells in Germany have seemed to stifle his development. Many of you want him back with the club next season though as he gets 57% of the vote.
2. Josh Cullen
Currently on his fourth season as a loanee following stints at Bradford and Bolton, Cullen is impressing at Charlton and earns 68% of the vote.
1. Edimilson Fernandes
A narrow winner with 73% of the vote. He’s one of the club’s most talented youngsters and will return this summer with more first-team experience under his belt from his time in Italy.
