Fiorentina are currently undecided over whether or not they will make West Ham man Edimilson Fernandes’ stay at the club permanent this summer.
According to claims from Il Corriere Fiorentino, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the Serie A side have not yet decided about pursuing the midfielder as he continues to play for the club on loan.
Fernandes completed a season-long loan switch to Stadio Artemio Franchi last summer and almost immediately highlighted his desire to stay put in Florence permanently.

However, Stefano Pioli appears unsure about whether or not to keep hold of the Hammers player beyond this term, it seems, with his future at Fiorentina currently under scrutiny.
The Swiss international struggled to nail down a place in West Ham’s first team last season and was deemed surplus to Manuel Pellegrini’s requirements.
Fiorentina reportedly have the option to buy Fernandes at the end of the current campaign, but the recent claims from Il Corriere Fiorentino suggest that he may yet need to convince his loan club of his qualities.
