West Ham have made Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater their top transfer target for the remainder of the January window.
According to a report from talkSPORT, the Hammers are looking to tie up a loan deal for the former Leicester City man.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign Drinkwater in the past, but it now appears that the club are ready to step up their interest with time running out in the January window.

The English midfielder has failed to break into Maurizio Sarri’s plans at Stamford Bridge and many expect the player to leave the club in the near future.
Although, Sarri did admit that he could be given some playing time during the second half of the season if Chelsea are unable to bring in another central midfielder before Thursday’s deadline.
The January window closes at 11pm on Thursday night and the Hammers are in a race against time to complete last-minute deals.
