West Ham want Hernandez replacement before allowing him to leave

West Ham United will not allow striker Javier Hernández to leave the club this January unless they can find a replacement, according to the Guardian.

Hernández is a target for La Liga side Valencia and he is believed to be keen on a move to Spain.

Valencia reportedly want just a loan move for the Mexican forward, whereas if West Ham are to let the striker go then they would prefer for it to be on a permanent basis – however not before they get someone else in to replace him.

The Hammers could also face losing Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic after an unnamed Chinese club made a bid for him earlier in the window.

West Ham would be keen to sign in-form Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson if either Hernandez or Arnautovic are to leave the club this January, though any deal for the England star could prove difficult with numerous clubs, including Chelsea, keeping tabs on the forward.
