Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has rejected the opportunity to join West Ham this month – with the player keen to move to Arsenal.
According to a report from the Mirror, Suarez is eager to complete a move to London, specifically to join Unai Emery’s side.
Suarez is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League and several clubs believed to be interested in his services.
Chelsea, West Ham and Everton have all reportedly been offered the chance to sign the player, but Arsenal have been leading the race to sign the Spaniard this month.
After returning to La Liga, Suarez has been unable to break into the Barcelona squad on a regular basis.
Unai Emery has worked with the player during his time at Sevilla and is believed to be an admirer.
Maurizio Sarri was equally keen on signing the Spaniard, but it appears that Chelsea have turned their attention to alternative transfer targets.
