Pellegrini plays down suggestion Arnautovic wants out of West Ham

When you’re an effective striker in the Premier League, it seems to be only a matter of time before the big clubs come calling.

And for Marko Arnautovic, his play over the last twelve months seems to have attracted the attention of eyes from all over Europe’s top leagues.

A colossal presence at the top of the formation, the Austrian international’s blend of speed and size presents a unique challenge to opposing defenders and not all have managed to contain him.

When the 29-year-old’s leadership qualities and desire to win are considered, Marko Arnautovic must make an attractive prospect for any team wishing to sign him.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini however is sure that his star forward is thinking only of the Hammers.

Speaking in a press conference, the Chilean said:

Every player wants to play for the biggest team, but I don’t think he is thinking about that, but only about West Ham.

Arnautovic will need to be on form if the Irons are to have any chance against Manchester City on Saturday, in the first match back after the international break.
