Felipe Anderson’s impressive performance against Burnley at the weekend has earned him a place in Garth Crooks’ team of the week.

Writing for the BBC, Crooks hailed the Brazilian for his performance against Sean Dyche’s side.

The Brazilian has looked impressive on the ball this season, however, against Burnley he looked just as impressive in front of goal.

Heading into the game, Manuel Pellegrini had challenged Anderson to step up in the Premier League.

Anderson has impressed in spells since joining West Ham from Lazio over the summer but is yet to find any form of consistency at the London Stadium.

He was influential against the Clarets with his two goals helping the Hammers on their way to three points.

The brace takes Anderson’s goal tally to three in the Premier League so far this season.

The win also lifts West Ham a little further away from the relegation zone, with the Hammers now five points above Huddersfield Town in 18th.

Has Anderson done enough to impress since joining West Ham?
