West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic is set to recover from his illness in time to face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening, according to a report on the Football Insider.
Arnautovic was absent from Saturday’s Premier League match against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Austrian picked up an illness prior to the match and was not even included in the matchday squad by manager Manuel Pellegrini.

However, he has provided the Hammers with a timely boost as he looks set to face Spurs on Wednesday.
With summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko out for several months, Arnautovic is the man that Pellegrini will want to provide the goals in the next couple of months.
The former Stoke City forward has scored four times in the Premier League this season and has provided one assist.
Spurs play tonight against Manchester City and only have one day of recovery before facing the Hammers, which automatically gives Pellegrini’s men an advantage.
