West Ham tracking prolific striker Mbwana Samatta
Premier League side West Ham United are keeping tabs on prolific Genk striker Mbwana Samatta as the Hammers plot a move for the forward, according to a report on HITC.
The Tanzanian international has made an incredible start to the season and has managed to find the back of the net 14 times in 16 matches.
The former TP Mazembe striker scored six times in Europa League qualifying and has netted once so far in the group stages and his impressive form has alerted West Ham.
However, the London club are set to face competition for the forward’s signatures as fellow Premier League sides Burnley and Everton are also keeping a close eye on him.
Manuel Pellegrini already has a wealth of forwards at his disposal and isn’t desperate to sign a striker in the January transfer window, which is why he is only tracking the forward at this moment in time.
If Samatta manages to keep up this incredible goalscoring form, then there is expected to be multiple European clubs fighting for his signature.
