A number of Bundesliga clubs are reportedly keen on signing West Ham midfielder Reece Oxford.

Sky Sports are reporting that RB Leipzig, Hannover and Frankfurt have all expressed an interest in the Englishman, who spent the majority of last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Oxford broke on to the first-team scene at the age of 16, playing an impressive role as the Hammers won 2-0 away at Arsenal on the opening day of the 2015-16 season.

He spent the second half of the following season on loan at Reading, before joining Gladbach for the season last summer.

The 19-year-old made just seven appearances in Germany but appears to have caught the eye of potential suitors in the country.

New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly willing to let Oxford go on a permanent basis, with a figure in the region of £10m being quoted.

Of course, today’s transfer deadline would not affect a move to Germany, given that their window remains open until the end of the month,

There is stiff competition for a starting spot at West Ham this season, with new arrival Jack Wilshere supplementing the likes of Mark Noble, Pedro Obiang, Edmilson Fernandes and Declan Rice in the squad.
