West Ham are bracing themselves for competition from Chelsea in the race to sign Felipe Anderson from Lazio.
Il Tempo, as cited on Sport Witness, claims that the Blues are readying a €30 million offer as they look to prepare for the arrival of Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri is expected to take over from Antonio Conte in the coming days and is a known admirer of Anderson.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Anderson throughout the summer window, but the two sides are yet to agree on a fee.
The player is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League, but the lengthy negotiations are slowing down the deal.
It is yet to be seen how serious Chelsea’s interest is, with Lazio already demanding closer to €40 million from West Ham, with the latter looking to complete a double deal for Anderson and defender Jordan Lukaku.
