West Ham have been given a boost in their hopes of landing Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson, with the news that Wolves are not interested in the player.
Local Wolves paper Express and Star have reported that Wolves are not in the running to sign the Swansea City star this summer.
Previous reports that emerged yesterday claimed that the player was a target for the newly-promoted Premier League side.
Wolves are set for a busy summer as they prepare for Premier League football at Molineux.
Due to their links with super agent Jorge Mendes, a host of players have seen themselves linked with a move to the club.
West Ham had been linked with a double move for both Mawson and Lukasz Fabianski, who joined the club earlier this month.
Mawson has attracted a number of clubs after an impressive campaign for Swansea, despite their relegation down to the Championship.
