West Ham target Seri wants Champions League football

Jean-Michael Seri is reportedly keen to play Champions League football next season, casting doubts over a potential move to West Ham.

According to Get French Football News, a move to the London Stadium is unlikely, but not out of the question.

The Hammers have been tentatively linked with a move to West Ham this summer, but the player is also wanted by Napoli and Chelsea.

Seri’s agent has reportedly held talks with Napoli, with Carlo Ancelotti keen to secure the player’s signature this summer.

Chelsea have also been heavily linked with a move for the Ivorian midfielder.

The Blues have reportedly held preliminary talks over a deal, but they will also be unable to offer Champions League football.

Chelsea are in the Europa League for the upcoming season, but could still secure a deal for the player.

The report from France suggests that a deal for West Ham could happen if Seri is unable to secure a move elsewhere before the end of the window.
