West Ham are reportedly chasing the signing of AC Milan striker Nikola Kalinic.
According to claims from Spanish news outlet El Desmarque, the Hammers have joined Sevilla in the race for the striker’s signature this summer.
West Ham want to add further attacking quality to the ranks ahead of next season, with Manuel Pellegrini hoping to tie up his transfer business early on in the window.
Kalinic could be set for an exit from AC Milan this summer and it seems a number of clubs have expressed an interest in recruiting him, including West Ham.

The experienced attacker joined Milan last summer on an initial loan deal, but the negotiations involved an obligation for the Serie A giants to permanently buy Kalinic from Fiorentina this summer.
It seems as though Gennaro Gattuso could be willing to part company with the 30-year-old already, however, as clubs begin to circle for his signature.
West Ham are not spoilt for choices in the striking department at this moment in time and the addition of Kalinic would undoubtedly add a different dimension to the options at Pellegrini’s disposal ahead of next season.
