It is also claimed that further talks will be held on Thursday in order to bring the deal over the line this week.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Anderson throughout the window and appear to have finally sealed a deal for the Brazilian.

With the news that Manuel Lanzini is set to miss the entirety of next season with a knee injury, the signing of Anderson has become doubly important.

He struggled for game-time last season at Lazio and will be hoping to find his feet in the Premier League and become a regular starter under Manuel Pellegrini.
