Little progress made on Anderson deal

Much has been said of the proposed move of midfielder Felipe Anderson to West Ham but the deal appears to have stalled over the weekend, according to Sport Witness.

The two parties are remaining confident of finalising the transfer after lengthy discussions over the price of the Lazio man.

The London club have offered €27m for Anderson, but the Italians are looking for an offer which is nearer the €40-45m mark.

Anderson won’t be appearing at the World Cup this summer, clearing the way for the Hammers to get the winger to the London Stadium as soon as possible.

Lazio are keen to wrap up the negotiations succinctly so that they can bring someone into replace him ahead of the new season.
