West Ham reportedly in the race to sign Seri

West Ham are reportedly among a host of clubs keen to sign Jean-Michael Seri from OGC Nice this summer.

The Ivory Coast international has emerged as a target for a number of top clubs across Europe and according to a report from the Mirror, the Hammers are one of the interested parties.

Seri has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and speculation is continuing to build, with several English clubs eyeing a summer swoop.

The enigmatic midfielder enjoyed yet another impressive season with Nice in Ligue 1 last term and it comes as no surprise to see a number of clubs throwing their hats into the ring for his signature.

Seri is likely to favour a move to a club that will be playing their football in European competition next term, which is likely to hinder West Ham’s chances of signing the midfielder.

However, if the Mirror are to be believed, they are among three Premier League suitors for Seri, with Manchester City and Arsenal both also keen.
