Hammers could bid for young City star Phil Foden
Manchester City’s Phil Foden could be a summer target for Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham this summer.
It is reported that West Ham may launch a loan move for the Manchester City youngster.
Manuel Pellegrini was earlier this week announced as the new West Ham boss and it is reported that he will be earning £7million a year during his 3-year contract.
The 64-year-old will return to the Premier League two years after leaving Manchester City. He will be hoping his old employers will give him the nod with Foden ahead of any other clubs that may be after him.
The Man City youngster has looked fantastic whenever he has featured for City this year and West Ham will be hoping that the prospect of first-team football will attract him to the London Stadium.
Foden is tipped for a huge future with Man City, having scored 14 goals in 33 games across various age categories. He has also made 12 first-team appearances under Pep Guardiola who rates him very highly.
