Manuel Pellegrini to be joined by new assistant Enzo Maresca
Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bring former West Brom player Enzo Maresca to the London Stadium as part of his coaching team, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 64-year old penned a three-year deal to become West Ham boss today and is now looking to build a strong backroom team.
Pellegrini will be also be joined by long-time trusted partner Ruben Cousillas, who has worked alongside the Chilean since the 1990s at a variety of clubs.
Whilst Maresca would be a new addition to the Pellegrini backroom staff, he has worked under the new Hammers boss before as a player at Malaga.
The Italian is no stranger when it comes to Premier League football, the former Baggies midfielder played almost 50 games in his two seasons at the Hawthorns.
The 38-year-old also has experience of coaching, as last season he was assistant to Vincenzo Montella at Sevilla before Montella got the sack.
