Pellegrini agrees deal to become West Ham manager
West Ham have agreed a deal with former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, with the Chilean set to take over as the club’s new boss according to the Telegraph.
Pellegrini flew in for talks with the Hammers’ hierarchy this week and it appears as though negotiations have gone well, with the experienced manager ready to take the reins.
David Moyes was dismissed by West Ham at the end of his short-term contract this week, with the club keen to progress to the next level after a period of mediocrity.
It’s claimed by the Telegraph that Pellegrini has put pen to paper on a deal which will earn him £7 million per year, including bonuses.
Pellegrini is set to be confirmed as West Ham’s new manager at some stage this week, with the finishing touches being placed on the former Real Madrid boss’ contract at the London Stadium.
The length of the signed contract is not yet known.
