Fyodor Smolov’s agent is reportedly desparate for his client to leave his current club Krasnodar, with the player also keen. West Ham are still interested in signing him, according to HITC.
The Hammers were linked with the Russian international in the last transfer window, with David Moyes keen to bring the £12m rated striker to the London Stadium.
Moyes has played Marko Arnautovic up front as a number nine due to the lack of goals being scored by the West Ham strikers Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll, but Smolov was seen as the ideal man to put up top.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has scored seven Premier League goals this season since joining in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, while Carroll who has been injured for a large part of the season, has only scored twice, a brace in the 2-1 win at home to West Brom.
Smolov has scored 61 goals for Krasnodar in 94 appearances since joining them in the summer of 2015, and this impressive goalscoring may see him join West Ham and give him the tougher challenge of competing in the Premier League.
West Ham are sitting in 14th place and are five points from the relegation zone, and Smolov may be moving to the London Stadium in the summer as West Ham look to build and ensure there are no worries about relegation next season.
