Anderlecht ready to cash in on Leander Dendoncker

West Ham are set to be in a position to sign Anderlecht player Leander Dendoncker after showing a strong interest in the player in January, as reported in Belgium and translated by the team at Sport Witness.

The Hammers were heavily interested in the 22-year-old in January but a deal failed to materialise but their interest is set to continue into the summer.

Anderlecht are keen to cash in on the player and take they money for him in order to balance the books.

The youngster has been hoping to get a move ever since his good friend Youri Tielemans moved away from the club.

His exit, to this poin,t has largely been blocked with the club wanting to hold some stability in place so they don’t become known as a selling club.

However, it looks like they’ve had a change of heart and they are likely to let Dendoncker leave in the summer.

If that is the case, West Ham will be favourites for his signature.
