West Ham told to pay £27m for Battaglia

West Ham, Inter and Napoli have been told that they will need to stump up £27 million to secure the services of Sporting midfielder Rodrigo Battaglia.

O Jogo claims that the three clubs are all interested in signing the player this summer, but Sporting will not sell on the cheap.

The report claims that both West Ham and Inter have recently watched the player in action as they ponder a summer move.

It is claimed that the player will discuss his future with the club in the coming weeks.

Battaglia has impressed for Sporting this season and is highly thought of in Portugal, both by the fans and the club.

The Hammers are likely to have a busy summer after their struggles in the Premier League this season.

A move for Battaglia is likely to depend on whether or not the Hammers can maintain their status in the Premier League beyond the summer.
