Manuel Lanzini has insisted that he remains happy to be at West Ham United despite the club’s ongoing struggles.
The Argentine midfielder opened up on the season so far and spoke of his mindset leading into a vital period of the campaign.
Lanzini has been heavily linked with a move away from the London Stadium in recent transfer windows, with Liverpool named as a potential destination on more than one occasion.
However, the 25-year-old has been quick to allay fears that he could leave West Ham in the near future. Lanzini insisted in an interview with the club’s official website that he remains “very, very happy” to be with the Irons.

I’ve always said I am very happy at the club and it’s a club where I feel very comfortable and I really enjoy working with this group of players. I’ve been here for three years now and I get on well with a lot of people. We have a lot of big personalities here and big players here and I truly get on well with everyone at the club.
Lanzini is a vitally important player to the Hammers and, in the midst of the team’s relegation fears this season, news of his happiness with David Moyes’ side is sure to come as a relief to all those associated with the club.
I always give 100 per cent for the club. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but today I am very, very happy and I love playing here.
The former Al Jazira Club midfielder’s season has been broken up by injury woes, however, he has still shown his quality on numerous occasions this term.
