West Ham United target Jonathan Bamba will not be renewing his contract with French side Saint-Etienne, meaning he’ll be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The French U21 international is now free to speak to any interested parties and could sign a pre-contract agreement if he so wishes.
The forward, who can play on either flank or down the middle, has seven goals and seven assists in 28 games this season and is attracting a lot of interest.
Crystal Palace and Huddersfield Town are just two of the clubs who West Ham will need to fend off in order to sign the 21-year-old, but he is said to be in no rush to decide on his next club.
He is likely looking to see which sides are relegated before he commits to a move as he will not want to sign pre-contracted terms with a team who end up playing Championship football next season.
