West Ham target Arter ready to quit Bournemouth
Harry Arter is ready to quit Bournemouth after being denied a move to West Ham in January, according to the Mirror.
The Republic of Ireland international has started only 11 Premier League games so far this season. However, Bournemouth were unwilling to sell him to West Ham in January, meaning the Hammers signed Joao Mario instead.
The 28 year old told the Mirror that; “When a player my age is not playing and someone who is desperate and just loves playing football, there comes a question over whether long term it is going to the right place for me.
The Irish international added “Ultimately if I am not playing, there has to be a change — and I am sure the manager would understand that.
Arter has made over 250 appearances for Bournemouth in an eight year spell with the club. He was signed by the Cherries for just £4,000, joining from non-league Woking.
