Antonio says Joao Mario is technically unbelievable
Michail Antonio has spoken to West Ham United and has praised new loan signing Joao Mario, as per HITC.
Mario came to the London Stadium on loan from Italian giants Inter Milan for the rest of the season, as the Hammers look to climb up the Premier League table.
The Portuguese midfielder is getting used to the English game, where he has never played before and is still looking for his first win in a claret and blue shirt.
However, this hasn’t stopped Michail Antonio, who made his first appearance back in a West Ham shirt in the match at Brighton, having been out of the squad since the 3-2 home loss to Newcastle United.
In an interview with the club, Antonio said about his new teammate (via HITC):
I’m very impressed with Mario. He’s a very technical player with nice flair and his awareness is unbelievable.
Mario will be looking to help the Hammers climb from twelfth in the Premier League and get further away from the relegation zone, where they are only three points away from currently.
The next challenge is Watford at home, who are hot off beating Chelsea 4-1 earlier in the week. Mario will be looking to impress, as will the rest of the squad, to beat the team David Moyes lost to in his first game as Hammers boss.
