Burke completes Bolton switch

Bolton Wanderers have completed the loan signing of Hammers youngster Reece Burke on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The player rejoins the club after spending the start of the current season on loan at the club appearing in 14 games netting one goal in that time.

He has featured in some recent games from the Hammers particularly in the FA Cup, but the club see it as the right move for him to go out on loan.

He has previously spent spells at both Bradford City and Wigan Athletic but this is the most important of all with him needing to prove himself to get the call into the Hammers squad on a permanent basis.

Burke is a central defender and with a number of options in this area for the Hammers it’s vital he has a successful spell with Bolton in the final months of the season.
