West Ham are the latest team to have been linked with a move for LOSC Lille star Ibrahim Amadou.
Reports have indicated that the Hammers are keen to rival fellow Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in their pursuit of the powerful midfielder, who can also play as a central defender.
In fact, leading French news outlet L’Equipe have even gone as far as claiming that West Ham have already made an opening offer for Amadou late in the window, which has since been turned down.

The report claims that West Ham offered a fee of £2m to take the 24-year-old on an initial loan deal until the end of the season. A clause was included in this offer, allowing them to buy Amadou from Lille for a sum of £14m at the end of the season.
However, Lille deem this approach to be insufficient, but are open to selling their captain as they aim to raise funds and ease the financial pressures they are currently under.
It is thought that the Ligue 1 club are demanding a fee of no less than €20m for Amadou.
